Before rangefinders come to exist and made golfers and hunters liveeasier, a time-consuming and inaccurate old method was used. Golfers used to count the steps between the yardage posts and guessing how far the flag is from the center. Those are the days but now that technology had progressed greatly a global position system or GPS is now available and had become the top choice ofmostgolfers when it comes getting the yardages.
It is one of the two types of rangefinder that is sold in the market, the other is the laser. Both works just fine but when it comes to choosing, it depends on different factors mostly what suits you the best. There are a few things that make the two different from the other. For example, GPS rangefinder takes less time to determine the distance but it needs a course to be mapped out which often requires you to pay a subscription.
Laser rangefinder takes a longertime to get the distance measured, it is as accurate as the golfer using the device and doesn’t require a mapof the course which means no need to pay for the subscription. If you are into a fast and more accurate distance, then the GPS rangefinder is for you. If you don’t fancy spending more money but still get an accurate measure just like most rangefindersdoand waiting for a few more seconds doesn’t bother you much, then the laserrangefinder is for you.
And while you are debating which one is your pick, consider reading our review below and you might not need to ponder what rangefinder to get.

“I bought this for golf. After looking at the many rangefinders out there, and reading the reviews, I decided the Eyoyo was best for me. I bought the solid green instead of the camo. I haven’t had a chance to use it in a game, but did go to my local course and tried it out on a couple of holes. I was pretty shakey, and the wind was fairly strong, so that had some effect. But it returned accurate yards to the pin. It easily converted to yards, and the accuracy was as good as any of the higher priced products. I’m not a hunter, so can’t offer any input on how it works for that, but it is perfect for golf.
The carrying case looks to be well constructed too. The instructions aren’t anything more than “basic” but they are good enough that this old guy who had never used a rangefinder before figured it out in no time. Definitely deserves Five Stars!”
“The Eyoyo laser rangefinder works great for golfing. If the flagsticks on the course don’t have the reflectors on them, you will need to have steady hands to get a read if you’re reallyfar away from the flagstick. This laser rangefinder does have the pinseeker. If you’rewanting this for golf, hit M button until you see a flagstick on the left side. Speed mode seems to works great also. You can detect speed form an object head on or from the side of the object. If you’re trying to get a speed from the side of a moving object, it seems you will need to follow the object with the laser rangefinder for 1 sec to get the actual speed. To change laser rangefinder from meters to yards, just hold down both buttons for 1 second. Once you change it, the laser rangefinder will stay that way as the default. When you get the Eyoyo laser rangefinder, the battery is in wrong. The flat side(negative) goes in first. The only thing I was upset about was the battery that came with the Eyoyo laser rangefinder was dead.”

“I had a Simmonswhich got drowned by heavy rains. I wanted something cheap so I tried this, and it is so much better than all the name brand ones I have tried. It ranges further than my old one did… out of my hand I have ranged out to 370yds… I am sure with a stand you could range much further.”
“Ordered this for Christmas for my son at his request. He uses it for golf, maybe hunting next year, but so far, it works and he is happy. You can pay much more for a brand name laser rangefinder, but if you leave it behind on your golf cart when you go grab a couple beers after your round, you will definitely not find the rangefinderwhen you come back, and you will be out $300 or more.”
Eyoyo5-700 Yard Waterproof 6x Multifunction Golf Hunting RangeFinder is a great choice for those who want to spend less for a rangefinder that works just like others that costs over a hundred dollars. It is also a plus that this package includes a built-in battery, a strap, and a pouch.
While it is not the first thing you look for and it often is an option it’s still nice to have these. Now for the rangefinder, there some reviews that commentabout how sometimes it has trouble ranging when the target is not clear although others haven’tmentioned about this. Other than that everything works perfectly with this rangefinder.
